  • ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
    Assistant will support the Director of Education (Part-time Contract)
    Primary Duties
    Ø      Research and market sales leads for Vision For Tomorrow Professional In-Service Training
    Ø      Organize VFT Professional In-Service trainings, as well as VFT teacher trainings
    Required skills
    Ø      Expertise and facility with internet research
    Ø      Ability to identify and locate agencies and organizations that would have a possible need for training
    Ø      Ability to identify the right contact at these agencies and present marketing information
    Ø      Ability to make successful public presentations
    Ø      Ability to pay attention to detail
    Ø      Ability to provide clear documentation
    Ø      Strong organizational skills
    Ø      Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Ø      Be adept with computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel
    Ø      Good phone voice and phone etiquette 
    Ø      A relaxed, professional appearance.
    Ø      Have own transportation.
    Ø      Have computer and phone line at home with high speed internet.
     
    Assistant will be required to research detailed information needed for successfully promoting Visions for Tomorrow and Great Minds Think Alike , as well as other NAMI Texas educational programs to be determined. Assistant will be required to provide scheduled detailed reports to the Director to assist her in strategizing and marketing NAMI Texas educational programs.
