How far would you walk to save a child from abuse and neglect?  Prevent Child Abuse Texas invites your participation in the Walk to Action scheduled for November 8, 2008 in San Antonio.  We are seeking walkers and sponsors to be a part of this event to bring public awareness on this topic.  

Since a chaotic, brutal family environment can be a school for violent, deviant behavior leading to drug abuse, emotional problems, poverty, young parents, prostitution and violence in our communities; we must raise the awareness of the community to eliminate all forms of child abuse.  Over 90% of the confirmed cases of abuse of children from birth to eighteen occur by a family member or someone close to the family.  Many cases of abuse can be prevented.

Please consider having a team of walkers and participate in this moving event.  You can produce your own team shirts and train together.
